KSDS, Inc. Incorporated January 10, 1990, KSDS was the first program in either the history of guide dogs or service dogs in America to provide both of these types of canine assistance from within the same facility.

KSDS follows the guidelines set forth by Assistance Dogs International (ADI) for the minimum standards in training and placing guide, service, and social dogs.  KSDS also abides by its own set of training standards that meet and exceed those of ADI.
